	Minutes away from Banff, and all the skiing, golf and hiking you could ever want - Sunshine Village, Mt Norquay, Lake Louise, Nakiska and Fortress Mtn. all within easy reach. The Canmore Nordic Centre, site of the Winter Olympic Nordic ski events in 1988 is also 10 minutes away, with many kilometres of groomed trails. We only have 5 traffic lights in total, so leave the hectic city behind and enjoy the incredible mountain splendour of the Rockies!

	Incredible and spectacular views at every turn. Completely surrounded by Wildland Provincial Park, Canmore is an international destination for winter and summer vacations. It maintains its quaint character, and is a friendly place with a great arts and cultural component, and a picturesque main street to wander up and down. In the summer incredible hiking, fishing, golf, sightseeing, rafting and other outdoor adventures await. We can help you organize activities, where to go, what to do, what to see etc. I have been a Park Ranger here for many years. I am currently in charge of the entire area around Canmore, and am more than willing to help you plan your vacation.

LOCATION: 20 minutes away from Banff Townsite and 55 minutes from Lake Louise. 10 minutes away from the Canmore Nordic Centre, site of the Nordic Events at the 1988 Winter Olympics. All trails groomed daily. 55 minutes from Calgary Great skating on a natural pond in Town. Rental of all ski gear possible in Town and at the Nordic Centre. Incredible restaurants and coffee shops. Walking distance to the Town Centre. Corner coffee shop, store and pub just up the street. Great shopping and two large grocery stores only 5 minutes away. Incredible hiking opportunities. Mountain biking. Fishing, - many species of trout. The best golf here and close by you could ever imagine. No Humidity in the summer!!! Try it you will love it!! HOUSE: Quiet sunny location with superb views, facing SW towards Mt Rundle. 4 level split, fully developed basement, 2 baths. 4 bedrooms, 1 queen, 1 double, 4 twins and 2 hide-a-beds. Hardwood flooring on main level. Open concept on main level. Large rear deck with gas BBQ and 2 bird feeders and heated birdbath. Large open kitchen with all appliances including microwave. 2 Large TV´s with Bell satellite, DVD and VHS players. Secluded backyard backing on to environmental reserve. Pond with fish and natural landscaped back garden. Washer and dryer. Rental by the week preferably. RESTRICTIONS: House is not child proof, our kids are past that stage! No pets, however you can enjoy the tropical fish. Non smokers only. PRICE: Full week throughout the winter season is $1200/wk Starting Saturday, ending the following Saturday. (variations may be possible). $500 damage deposit that is fully refundable as long as there is no damage or anything missing! Summer Season is $1500/wk. Payment should be by money order or certified cheque. This is not a rental home, its our home that we are allowing guests to use. We just decided to do this recently, while we are together in Toronto or away for work. We only want responsible families and are not interested in a bunch of people getting together to rent the place unless a larger damage deposit is in place ($1,000), and a guarantee there will be no noise/partying, as this is a community where we live.
