Be a member and take part, making this dream a reality. The property is part of the Village of Poros with access to shopping, beaches and all amenities. This project can accommodate on 6055 sq.m. any number of participants up to about 50 and a total built living area of 2500 sq.m. The final cost will depend on the final number of participants, sq.m. of living structure required and degree of luxury required. Average final cost depending on these factors will be between 1800 and 2200 Euro per sq.m. of building structure, including share of the cost of land. Projected are apartments of good quality with spacious balconies, verandas or garden at € 90 000 for 50 sq.m. and € 180 000 for 100 sq.m. apartments. All ready to move in. For supervision of the building works our external building engineer from Europe will be on duty. Especially for this project and for the case of being under a joint building measure, we have a firm offer from a serious local builder to apply for Government Grants. For new high class units (4 stars and above) a 20% cash grant can be applied for and - for all members who have signed in this joint building measure in 2004 - this grant will be guaranteed upon the signing of the building contract and will be deducted from the above stated price. As the only one island in Greece, Lefkas (or Lefkada) can be reached directly by car on a direct drive from the mainland, day and night and under all weather conditions. Since recently it is connected to the mainland by a toll-free pontoon bridge. From there to the airport Preveza Aktion it is only 20 km and frequent direct charter flights are offered to nearly all European countries, although Lefkas is one of the least tourist oriented islands in Greece. Lefkas is a fascinating mixture of mountainous interior, where you believe time stood still when you meet Lefkadians in their forgotten villages, dressed in their local colourful costumes or old women in black carrying their burden on their head. You find fantastic panoramic views at about every second step, a variety of the best beaches in Greece on endless kilometers, small picturesque villages and one fishing port, excellent food like fishes, local lamb and goats and homemade wines as well as the typical Ouzo or a good Tsipouro. The sea is crystal clear, around Lefkas you find countless anchorages as well as harbours and marinas. A great number of smaller and bigger islands in the vicinity invite for an island hopping - Onassis whose Private Island Scorpios is just a few minutes "around the corner" - and in clear nights you will see a horizon with its stars in a brilliancy as you have never seen stars before. We will also consider an offer to sell the whole property as is (6055 sq.m.) to potential interested parties.
