Royal Oak Vacation Suite is a comfortable, fully furnished and lovingly decorated private suite. Your separate entrance is accessed through a beautiful garden. We have been hosting satisfied guests since 1999. You will find your accommodations in immaculately clean condition.

The kitchen contains a full size range with a self clean oven, a full size refrigerator with freezer, a microwave, toaster, kettle, coffeepot and more small appliances. There are plenty of dishes, pots, pans and cutlery. The solid pine table can be extended to seat 6 people. The peaceful view from the kitchen window is of the yard and apple trees.

The living room has a sectional sofa which converts to a very comfortable double bed. There is a 20 inch TV, a VCR, a DVD player, a stereo and a CD player.

The bedroom has a very comfortable and cosy queen size sleigh bed.

The private bathroom has a tub with shower, and we supply towels, soap, shampoo and a hairdryer.

You have access to shared laundry facilities on the ground floor.

The suite contains a computer with 24 hour high speed internet access so you can keep in touch with email. All bedding, kitchen linens and dish soap are also provided. The suite contains an iron and ironing board, lots of board games for rainy days, tourist information, maps and even a great selection of videos for you to borrow!

Outside

The yard can also be seen from your bedroom window. It contains a lovely brick patio complete with Adirondack chairs and a market umbrella which you are welcome to enjoy. The relaxing outdoor Jacuzzi / Spa is perfect after a busy day touring our beautiful city!

The Area

We are centrally located at 794 Mann Avenue and access is easy from highway 17 (Patricia Bay Highway) enroute from the airport or ferries. Click here for a map World famous  Butchart Gardens is within 20 minutes. The city centre, University of Victoria and Camosun College are 15 minutes away. Within a short drive are parks with lakes, beaches, hiking, shopping centres, golf, a public swimmimg pool, fitness centre and library.

Walk in about 5 minutes to the local shopping centre which contains a supermarket, video rentals, hair salon, dry cleaner, pharmacy, medical clinic, bookstore, travel agent, bank, post office, gas station, restaurants, internet access and many more conveniences. The neighbourhood pub is within walking distance.

The public bus stop is a 5 minute walk. The bus goes to the city centre while passing a major shopping mall. There are many hiking / biking trails in the area.

• Rates are Canadian dollars based on seven nights for two people. For each additional person add $25.00 per week to a maximum of four guests.
• A 10% deposit via cheque is required in order to hold your reservation. The deposit is non refundable unless we are able to rent to another party for the time in question. The balance in cash is due on check-in.
• Sorry, we do not accept credit cards.
