Our home is a comfortable house with walk access to a white beach, lagoon, coral reef and surrounded by a pleasant garden with tropical trees, plants and flowers. It is a double storey 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom, a modern kitchen with all the appliances, a living room with hi-fi/VCR/DVD a TV set with satellite (CNN, Eurosport, tcm etc.) a large deck with sun beds, BBQ and furniture for eating outside. |

| Rarotonga is a round island with turquoise lagoon and lovely beach. We are in Arorangi the west side of the island, 8 km from the capital Avarua and 5 km from the international airport (daily fly to/from New Zealand/Australia and 3 times a week direct fly to Tahiti/Los Angeles). It is a quite place and safe area, as is the rest of the island. Sport lover can bike around in few hours (38 km). The area is full of outdoor recreational opportunities including boating, fishing, walking, snorkeling, diving, safari tour and scenic flight. You can also enjoy a whale watching, shopping at the punanga nui market where you will be able to find local arts and crafts and the beautiful black pearls. A Traditional dance show along with a taste of Polynesia food is held twice a week at the Edgewater Hotel Resort just next door to our house. There are also food shops and restaurants at walking distance. Our Neighbors are friendly and ready to help you if you need. We are an Italian couple both in our fifty. We have lived in Italy, Thailand and Philippines before exploring the South Pacific. Now we have settled in Rarotonga, where we are running a little Italian Restaurant www.dacarlorestaurant.com, to enjoy tranquility and island style life. We are non smokers and we love cooking, reading, good movies, travelling and discover new destinations. |
