The island has approximately 15000 inhabitants and miles of beaches from sandy beaches to wild rocks and water falls. 85% of the island is designated as National Park designated by the UN (UNESCO) as one of the last untouched areas of the Atlantic Rainforest.

Located on southern part of island in the region of Borrifos directly in front of ocean. House design is very modern using mainly steel reinforced concrete structure. Various floors and roof supported by round concrete pillars to afford maximum view of sea.

Glass windows throughout provide panoramic view from all rooms of the house including bathrooms. Roof is flat and can be used as terrace or for future extensions (foundation supports it).

Living/Dining/Kitchen area is separate building from bedrooms and in the form of an inverted pyramid again to provide 360 view of the sea. Approximately 300 square meters of living area.

Design accompanies the natural terrain of the land which is at elevation of 40 meters from the sea overlooking a rocky beach. Fully mature garden including cicads, palms, agaves, orchids and coconut trees. Winding staircase of cut granite leads down to beach area through rain forest like garden.
